The Ignignokt hydrogen peroxide powered rocket was developed from concept to flying vehicle in ten months to compete in the 2008 Northrop Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge XPRIZE. Several teams entered, but Ignignokt was one of only two vehicles ultimately awarded an experimental permit by the FAA required to fly at the competition.

Sadly, Ignignokt did not survive the competition. However, the success of building a hovering rocket in such a short time led to Tzer0's current aerospace projects.
